JOB OPENINGS
Position: Marketing Assistant
Status: Part-Time: 20 hour per week, $22 an hour, hybrid office/work from home
Reports to: Managing Director
This assistant will work closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Consulting Firms on the following:
DIGITAL, EMAIL, AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS
In collaboration, manage the season communications calendar including setting deadlines, project managing campaigns, and gathering any and all necessary assets in a timely manner
Craft Mailchimp e-blasts, digital programs, social media graphics, and other outreach materials
Create and edit marketing copy for SquareSpace website, email, and social media campaigns using Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express following brand guidelines and language ideology.
Oversee the design and implementation of social media campaigns: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
Maintain a social media presence during special events, such as opening nights, special events, readings, Galas, etc. including community management and reposting with playwright news when applicable
Create social media and email campaign reports as requested
PRODUCTION/EVENT MARKETING CAMPAIGNS
Manage Page 73 assets in Dropbox and coordinate sending to external entities including press agent, peer theaters, and other collaborators
Ensure all Page 73 communications adhere to brand style guidelines in all channels
Build and manage communications for ticketed events on AudienceView (OvationTix) including productions, readings, and special events including pre-show, post-show, and survey communications
Create programs for productions, readings, special events, etc., in both digital and print
Execute & support Paid Social campaigns for productions and events, under the guidance of the Managing Director
OUTREACH COORDINATION
Seek out partnerships for cross-promotion opportunities
Organize community nights at theater and group sales with support from the Development Assistant
INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT
Create and compile collateral documents for grant applications and print pieces for the annual appeal in collaboration with the Development Department
Design and create special event materials including flyers, tickets, invitations, name tags, etc using Microsoft Business, Google Forms and Paperless Post
OFFICE AND OPERATIONS
Complete various office overhead tasks as needed, including the management and maintenance of technology, filing, purchasing and organizing office supplies, answering phones, etc.
Experience
Portfolio of design experience ideally in Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva, Instagram and Facebook ads.
A deep commitment to the Page 73 mission and an appreciation for live theater and early-career playwrights.
Proven success in designing materials with a detailed brand guideline to achieve organizational goals around protecting our brand.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all constituents.
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
