Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us at our 2024 Gala! It was a sensational night of food, community, and honoring Jean Kim Smart, Founder and CEO of Penelope, a company that supports small businesses like Page 73 with accessible 401K plans.

We celebrated 26 years of launching playwrights, including our 2024 world premiere of Stargazers by Majkin Holmquist. The evening also featured a lively paddle raise, a gourmet menu by Chef D.Arthur inspired by Page 73’s production history, and special remarks by Mia Chung, Page 73 alum and playwright of Catch as Catch Can.

Your generosity supports the future of the American theater, and we thank you for helping keep our art form vital.

We honored Jean in recognition of her outstanding service on Page 73’s board and her remarkable achievements, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to social impact as founder of Penelope, a retirement platform that directly supports nonprofits like Page 73. 

Jean is an inspiration to our community. Through Penelope,  she is not only helping to secure the economic futures of our staff, but also supporting other small businesses within our communities. Her leadership and support as a board member have been invaluable, enabling us to amplify our efforts and reach even greater heights.
